Belgium’s Romelu Lukaku 6/4 to score anytime against Wales in tonight’s Euro 2016 quarter-finals clash

Competition: Euro 2016
Market: Lukaku to score anytime
Odds:

Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku is expected to lead the line for the Rode Duivels against Wales in this evening’s Euro 2016 quarter-final meeting at the Grand Stade Lille Métropole, and will be hoping he can inflict damage against a defence he’ll know all too well from his Premier League experience.

The Everton centre-forward has played against almost all of Wales’ defence in the English top-flight, enjoying goals against many of them, and as a result he’ll be looking to repeat the feat to help his side to the semi-finals of the European Championship.

While inconsistent this summer, Lukaku is just one goal from the top scorers in the charts, and they will no doubt be on his mind at the Grand Stade Lille Métropole. Ironically, it’s a Wales player in Gareth Bale standing in his way, but the two could well swap places if Belgium’s striker can find his form in front of goal.

Lukaku has scored twice in the Euros so far, and should be the beneficiary of the Rode Duivels recent influx of goals (last three games, eight goals) provided the creativity from Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne is on point. As a result, Bet 365 are giving odds of 6/4 for Lukaku to score anytime against Wales tonight.
